Shanghai GDP per capita is around 28,823 US dollars nominal (i.e. exchange rate based).
the Anhui province has a GDP per capita that’s around 19,452 US dollars nominal (slightly less than that of taiwan)

I need to fly from Malaysia to Hefei -( Anhui province) in China. Can anyone tell me the best way to get there.

There is no direct flight from Malaysia to Anhui. The easiest way to get there is take the flight from Shanghai to Hefei. There are many flights between Shanghai and Hefei from the early 7am to 9pm everyday. I’m sure you can find a suitable time to get there. The nomal fare for the trip from Shanghai to Hefei is RMB490 plus airport tax RMB110.
